Do not allow the Moon Mage Guild to train your skills.
Instead, train your skills on your own, using DIR <statistic name>
in the Crossing. It is more efficient to train in this way as the guild will only
train you to your minimum stat requirements. You will get more stats for your coin
and TDP's (Time Development Points) in this way. |

Never underestimate the importance of Power Perception.
Training Power Perception in league with your other magic skills will prove very important
as you advance to higher circles.

Balance the attributes (strengths and weaknesses) of your race with
your profession bonuses and penalties. An Elven Moon Mage is no Barbarian, for
example, so do not attempt to fight as one. Your combat skills will require a
certain focus to perfect. |

Keep notes on all your travels, activities, and experiences.
Notes prove most helpful when you must return to an area, research a skill, item, or event
for future reference, or instruct another on the knowledge you've gained. |
