DANCE Several variations, type DANCE by itself for help. Typing
Dance when you are lying down will cause you to jump to your feet.
DECLINE Declines an outstanding offer to you (see Accept and Give)
DEPART Allows you to leave your body behind immediately and be transported to the temple
for resurrection if you have favors. All your possessions will be left where you died. If
you do not have a favor, you might lose your character permanently.
DEPOSIT Allows you to deposit coins in the bank.
DIRECTORY Helps you find places in the towns. You must be in a town and on the streets for
this command to work correctly.
DISARM Allows you to attempt to disarm a trapped object.
DIVE Allows you to dive in water.
DODGE Combat action.
DRAG Allows you to attempt to drag someone or something. DRAG <character or item>

DRINK Allows you to drink a consumable item.
DROP Allows you to place an item you are holding on the ground.
DUCK (Note, this is an emote only, it is not effective in combat).

EAT Allows you to eat an item that is a consumable.

EXCHANGE <amount or ALL> <denomination> <currency> TO <currency>
While in a bank exchange booth, this verb allows you to exchange Kronars to Lirums or
Dokoras and vice versa. Example: EXCHANGE ALL LIRUMS TO DOKORAS or EXCHANGE 7
COPPER DOKORAS TO KRONARS>
EXHALE Allows you to empty your lungs if smoking or breathe on a pair of dice for luck.
EXIT To exit the game.
EXPERIENCE Allows you to see the current experience of your character.

FALL Causes you character to fall down.
FATIGUE Allows you to see the current fatigue status of your character.

REFUSE Used with the merchant system to decline to buy something from a merchant.
REMOVE <item> Allows you to remove something from your person that is attached or
worn. You often must remove items to use them.
RENT Used to rent a vault in the town Carousels.
REPORT Used to send a message to the GMs in the event of an emergency. Note: Make sure
it's an emergency! Reports go to all GMs on duty or not. See the DragonRealms' Terms of
Service prior to using this command.
RETREAT Causes your character to attempt to retreat from combat. Success is variable.

STANCE Allows you to set your posture during combat. Type STANCE in-game for an

STAND If you are not standing, this command will cause your character to attempt to stand.
Success is variable.

STEAL <character> Will cause your character to attempt to steal money from the
target character. Theft may get your character killed or arrested if you fail. NPC's
may also be stolen from.

SUMMON <creature> Allows War Mages to summon a familiar if they have the proper
talisman.
SURPRISE <character>If you are hidden, you will jump out of hiding flailing your
arms at the target character.
SWAP Exchanges the items in your hands.
SWEAR
SWIM (N, S, E, W) In water SWIM allows movement.

TACKLE
TAP <character or creature or item> Allows you to tap a character, creature, or
item.
TARGET <character or creature> Used to target players and creatures with ranged
weapons. See AIM.
TEACH <skill> <character> Allows you to teach a skill you know to another
character. Once you offer to teach another character, that character must type LISTEN .
See listen. Note, you must have a higher skill rank in the skill you are teaching than the
character whom you are teaching. If you are teaching weapons skill you must have the
weapon in your hand. Also, there are some skills that cannot be taught. i.e. Tracking is a
Ranger only skill
no other profession can learn it.
TEND [MY] <body area> Allows you to attempt to bandage a wound. Success if based on
your character's First Aid skill. Success is also time-based as bandages will fail.
TEND <character> <body area> Use LOOK <character> to see his or
her wounds.
THINK <message> If you are wearing a sending type Gwethdesuan, you can think
messages to other characters in-range who are wearing receiving-type Gwethdesuans.
THROW <item> [AT] <character or creature> Used to throw throwable items at a
target.

TICKLE <character or creature>
TIME Allows you to see the current time in the game.
TOUCH <character or item> Allows you to touch characters or items. If you are an
Empath, touching will attempt to heal.
TRACK <character or creature> A ranger only action for tracking players and
creatures.
TRAIN Initiates the training process, but only in valid training areas. Use
DIRECTORY <attribute> to find training areas (attributes: strength, charisma,
stamina, discipline, intelligence, wisdom, charisma, and reflex.)
TURN <item>
TYPO Allows you to report a typographical error you have found in the game.

UNHIDE Allows you to unhide.
UNLATCH See LATCH.
UNLOAD Allows you to unload a loaded ranged weapon.
UNLOCK Allows you to unlock a locked item if you have the key.
UNTIE Unties your hair (if it is tied back.)
UNWRAP <item> Allows you to unwrap a wrapped item.
